THE TOPIC WAS BROUGHT UP BY KOKO AND IN MY OPINION IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH CONTINUING:)
DO YOU TEND TO MIX METALS WHEN IT COMES TO JEWELLERY AND ACCESSORIES? OR ARE YOU RATHER THAT MATCHY-MATCHY TYPE WHO PAIRS WATCH,RINGS, BELT BUCKLE AND BAG HARDWARE TONE TO TONE?
IN MY OPINION MIXING SILVER AND GOLD IS PERFECTLY APPROPRIATE AND I FEEL TOTALLY COMFORTABLE WITH IT:) ONE OF MY FAVOURITE DANISH DESIGNERS DUO- LINE&JO HAVE BEEN SHOWCASING ITEMS THAT MIX THE ELEMENTS WITHIN THE SAME PIECE.AND IT WORKS!
SO, THROW IT ALL ON:)

Two tone watch is very functional, it's like a foundation piece which allows silver and gold pieces worn at the same time.
I have silver watch, but no fear of mixing it with f.eg gold bracelet at all.
When it comes to bags, I prefer either gunmetal hardware, or no hardware at all.
I'm slowly working my way toward it... I'm starting by not worrying about shoe hardware, then we'll see how it goes from there. Of course if I owned a two-toned Rolex watch it would make things easier ;-)
You always pick the best photos for your posts!
i used to think that it wasn't okay, but then after looking around a little, i definitely got used to it and am open to the idea...
i love AW, the studs aren't a big deal for me.. not TOO heavy in my opinion, but i also noticed that i don't carry as much stuff in my bags as most girls ;)

Koko,
thank You very much for nice words. You are always a sweet-heart:)
Viv,
good to know. I was curiuos because I heard many opinions that the bag is too heavy for everyday use.I don't carry that much stuff in my bag either,so it should not be a big headache for me.
i agree with you. ;)

You know, had this post not had the accompanying picture I think I would have thought "oooo I don't know, mixing gold and silver?!" But that picture shows how perfectly it can be done when done right. I'm converted and shall be mixing every bit of jewellery I own :) xx
Olivia,
I am happy to hear that I convinced You:)
This is tough one! It's so hard to change your habits when you've heard form the very young age not to mix silver and gold! It's almost like changing your identity! But I have no choice as I recently bought a golden watch and I don't own any golden ring! So, I'll have to mix!
I have a ring given to me by my grandmother that is a mixture of gold and white gold, and being the only little splash of gold on my fingers (i wear 5 silver/white gold rings) it annoys me a little. When it comes to hardware, I don't seem to mind nearly as much if the metals are mixed. Contentious topic!
