I am not big fan of jewelry. I never tend to overspend on it. In fact I hardly ever buy it, all my ( 3:) fav items are gifts:my oversize, silver Omega watch (birthday present from my husband); red string ( the „evil-eye“ protector), which has been on my wrist for many,many  years and last bot not least- thick, white gold necklace with a tiny diamond pendant ( gift from my Mom).You can see me wearing literally the same pieces every day.It’s like I am being tied to them and ...that’s all.

I am so excited today, to say that PS1 bag is finally mine.I have been wanting it for a long, long time, always postpone purchasing it. Finally for my birthday I decided to pamper myself and ... yeah...bought it.

I chose medium size in black which I absolutely adore. Not too big and not too small (little bit smaller than Balenciaga Part-time, rather City size) - that is just perfect and the leather is so butterly soft.

The bag was purchased from my fellow The Purse Forum member and blogger. She is My Poupette Approved Luxury Seller and member of the Hermès Clubhouse. And her custom order Birkin is to die for:)!

This signet ring is a variation on the one from my men’s collection.
The Hermès business card holder was a gift from my business partners for being awarded runner-up in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
I rarely wear my glasses, but I bring them just in case. I got the frames in a vintage shop in London.
I bought my hat years ago at Arnold Hatters on Eighth Avenue, which  unfortunately no longer exists. I never leave home without it!

H&M's new Fashion Against Aids collection is scheduled launch on 26th of April in H&M's Divided section.

The collection is simple and minimalistic, so different from the boheme-ish one from last year. 

This year designers put great emphasis on comfort ( sport pants, T-shirts, parkas) and natural colors. 

You can also notice some inspirations taken from Alexander Wang's SS11 collection ( mint blouses, metallic shorts, white vests)  and see-through "Jil Sander's" plastic bags.

Alexander Wang's first-ever store opens to public today! The shop is located in the old Yohji Yamamoto space at 103 Grand Street. 
Wang, himself says the store is basically like his apartment  (mix of Parisian glamour and N.Y minimalism).

I personally love the fox fur hammock hanging from the ceiling, not mentioning the Kirsten bags and shoes...:)

I’d like there to be more  beauty trends; there was so much of that in Vogue back in the  eighties. And how people are living; there are so many interesting, cool  people here, and they should be in the magazine. More French girls,  more French lifestyle. And I am going to keep shooting for the  magazine—hopefully a story every issue. I do project myself in my  pictures, even if I would never wear what I shoot. Actually, most of the  time I definitely wouldn’t. I always want a relationship with reality:  nothing too sexy, or provocative, or fashion victim. Even if I love to  dream, I want the magazine to feature a girl who looks like she belongs  in real life. We are French—we can show smoking, nudity. We have no  boundaries, and it can be good to have them."

Some time ago I heard about the 5-piece French Wardrobe principal. Today, I found it again here and thought it would be nice to share.

I have always been more than fascinated with the way French women dress. They always look very stylish with minimal effort. So, what is their secret???? Apparently they just know how to shop, haha. I mean it! The idea is very, very simple.

It is said that French women only buy 5 (classic,key) pieces a season. And then they just add 4-5 pieces each season to up-to date their wardrobe. Sounds smart to me.

I always value quality over quantity and I know it from my personal experience that overstuffed wardrobe takes far too much space and tends to gather dust too:) 

My wish is to build a solid wardrobe, with the importance of sticking to the following criteria: good fit,great fabric ,classic design. I really want to achieve the minimal, cohesive look.

Of course it may be too expensive, but I know that in return I get great stand-out pieces which I can cherish for the next many,many years....or even forever.

Here is my list:

1.Isabel Marant etoile coat

I love her designs and I have been eyeing this coat for a long time. Luckily managed to buy it 2 weeks ago. One of my best’s bargains ever.

2.Leather jacket

I am obsessed with leather jackets, especially the ones from Muubaa ( I am owner of 2 muubaa jackets) and the higher shelf which is Rick Owens ( I own none:).

Not that long time ago I discovered the leather jacket by Barbara i Gongini.It meets all the criteria that the“ perfect leather jacket“ is supposed to have.  

Awaiting for the discount or lottery winning.

3.Tweed blazer

I love blazers. Just need to add the tweed and white one to my collection. Preferebly a bit oversized, single breasted. Would be perfect with my skinny leather pants and tee or cashmere sweater.      

4.Celine Boston Tote/Balenciaga

I am really devoted to my Balenciaga bags ( I have City, Part-Time and Messenger,the last one is listed for sale on ebay,as I want to buy the suede Bal).What I love about them is that I can wear them over the shoulder and I find them very roomy, especially my Part-Time.

I had been eyeing Mulberry Alexa, PS1 (too expensive), Alexander Wang ( I have Donna and messenger and I am considering to list them on sale,as I do not wear them so much anymore) and many others IT bags, but I always come back to Balenciaga.

Celine Boston Tote caught my attention immediately, I love it, but find it „to ladylike“.

5.Jeans

I really do have difficulties with finding the perfect jeans for myself. Not that I am picky or something, but I cannot spot the „right ones“. I am looking for high-waisted jeans (yes, HIGH-WAISTED, I do not have  loooong model legs), dark grey or black.

Acne has nice ones and I heard their jeans can last long, long time.

Any other suggestions regarding jeans brands?

Very good collection, maybe hard to "digest" for everyone, but I can bet that after second, third glance it's almost impossible not to like it.

I hated patchwork before, but hey, it does work here so well.

The only thing I hate and cannot understand at all, are fur tails. I've been seeing these long fur/faux fur tail charms attached to handbags on a lot of looks. WHY????? It looks so juvenile and ridiculous.

When it comes to classic fashion, the white shirt -- clean, crisp and timeless -- is hard to beat.

The book "The Classic Ten" by Nancy Macdonell Smith places the white  shirt among the Top 10 wardrobe staples.

"They are so versatile, and they offer so many different looks," says Liliane Richa, a personal shopper at Dillard's at Beachwood Place. You can flip the collar up or wear it flat, for example. For  daytime, you can wear them on their own or under a jacket or sweater.

But also, as Richa recalls, "Remember when Sharon Stone wore one to the Oscars with a formal full skirt?" 

Audrey Hepburn famously wore a man's white shirt tied in the back to  show off her tiny waist, but we have many more and better options now. 

While white shirts always have been a crucial part of a woman's  wardrobe, the infusion of stretch has rocketed them even higher on the  list of go-to items.

Stretch has also made them more of a stand-alone piece -- especially  when they can be worn over pants or a skirt, without being tucked in. 

"A white shirt has a much neater look if it has stretch," says Dixie  Lee Davis, director of Saks' Fifth Avenue Club. "And it stays neat and  smooth from morning till night." 

So, women can look as fresh at the end of a day as at the beginning, which isn't the case with a lot of clothes we wear. 

Gailmarie Fort, an image consultant at Nordstrom at Beachwood Place,  says the enduring appeal of the white shirt is simply this: "It's  fresh, useful and modern." 

White doesn't stay white forever, so be prepared to buy some new  white shirts when your old ones start to wear at the collar or get  dingy. The good news is that this makes it easier to stay in style, as  shirt silhouettes are constantly evolving.

To zdjecie zostalo zrobione podczas Paryskiego Tygodnia Mody, Kiedy zobaczylam je po raz pierwszy bylam mega zachwycona. Nieskomplikowane, a jakze piekne w swojej prostocie. Czerwone, skorzane spodnie, paski, pantera, wszystko idealnie skomponowane. Brak "przeciazenia" zbednymi dodatkami. Po prostu super. Co do dziewczyny nie jestem pewna kim ona jest. Wyglada jak Isabel Fontana, jednak czy to naprawde ona? Nie mam pojecia. Zreszta to jest malo istotne. Jej stroj powalil mnie na kolana:)

Kocham czarna skore, zaczynajac od kurtek, konczac na bluzkach, sukienkach,legginsach, spodniach...Jednak, aby uniknac tzw. "biker look" nigdy nie lacze zbyt wielu skorzanych ( w tym samym kolorze) rzeczy ze soba.Efekt moze byc zbyt przytlaczjacy i dlatego moze byc uzyty tylko na specjalne okazje. Przy okazji, druga Balenciaga juz zakupiona, czarny model Day.

I do love black leather,starting from jackets, ending on pants, blouses,leggins, dresses.

However, to avoid the "biker" look, I never match leather pants with a too-similar jacket or tunic. The effect can be overpowering and should be used for appropriate occasions only. By the way, got my second Bal-bag, the black Day. My Balenciaga fever has just started:)

Today, I came home with my latest purchase-the military jacket.I had been seeking for a similar one for a quite long time. Finally found it. The combat,camouflage parka with a large embroided design on the back is-in my opinion- one of a kind.Of course it was hard decision to make.I always try to plan my wardrobe very carefully when it comes to other colours than black or grey.

But... yeah, now I have it and love it!

Wez gleboki oddech. Czy jestes gotowa na najnowsza kolekcje Acne jesien/zima 2010-11? Zalozyciel marki, Jonny Johansson przy tworzeniu kolekcji czerpal inspiracje z filmu Star Wars ( paleta kolorow, kroje charakterystyczne dla nomadow).

Dlugo rozgladalam sie za nowa torba dla siebie. Bralam pod uwage kilka modeli:1) Alexander Wang, kiedy wreszcie wyszedl model "Rocco" z paskiem na ramie, postanowilam , ze musze go miec:)

2) Mulberry Alexa 3) YSL Downtown Croco, torba jest piekna, jednak nie jestem przekonana do toreb z zamszu, sa bardzo niewdzieczne do czyszczenia, poza tym zamsz brzydko sie "starzeje". Moim zdaniem...

W koncu wybor padl na... Balenciage. W zamysle byla czarna City, jednak kiedy zobaczylam granatowa Part Time, wiedzialam, ze to juz koniec poszukiwan tej idealnej :) Torba jest lekko uzywana, co bardzo mi sie w niej podoba, gdyz: cena jest nizsza niz w firmowym sklepie Balenciagi, poza tym skora jest juz "troche znoszona" co czyni torbe jeszcze bardziej piekniejsza i daje jej tak pozadany przez mnie "vintage look". Zostala zakupiona tutaj http://luxury.malleries.com.

Bardzo chcialam, zeby torba byla tez troche anonimowa ( o ile Balenciaga moze byc anonimowa:), wiec logo LV, Gucci - oczywiscie z jak najwiekszym szacunkiem dla tych firm - odpada.
